Airplantman is inspired by nature, and nature is always changing.

What began fifteen years ago as an obsession with tillandsia and elevating their display resonated with more people around the world than I ever could have imagined. Press, a product line, and custom installations followed, keeping us busy and inspired. Landscape Architecture has always been my profession; Airplantman is the passion project. Now, as I focus more on designing gardens, Airplantman is evolving again.

Airplant inspiration has always been the primary goal: sharing what these incredible plants reveal about nature so that others might see the world in a fresh light and develop a deeper connection to it. That goal continues. We're updating the site with a more complete archive of built works and product developments over the years (the successful ones and the not-so-successful ones). Plant travels, nature writing, and design musings will live on the blog. (Be on the lookout for a lot of squirrel talk, too.)

We continue to welcome custom projects that spark our creative curiosity, and look forward to pushing the boundaries of soil-less planting design.

Going forward, we'll host limited pop-up sales in the webshop, featuring a curated mix of returning favorites and rare, one-of-a-kind pieces. From June 1st-15th, Classic AirplantFrames and AirplantVessels will be 20% off (for orders of $150+).
